Susana Fortes

Susana Fortes (Pontevedra, Spain, 1959) obtained a degree in Geography and History from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, and in American History from the Universidad de Barcelona. She has spent time in the US, teaching Spanish in Louisiana and participating in university conferences at the Universidad Interestatal de San Francisco. She is the author of several books, including Waiting for Robert Capa, Quattrocento, and The Albanian Lover, which have been translated into many languages. She currently teaches at a secondary school in Valencia.
