Laura Autonell

Laura Autonell Aranda (1963) fully embraced the world of literature after winning the Premi Literari Solstici de Taradell and Premi La Miranda de La Roca del Vallès in 2021. She also received an honourable mention in the 24th edition of the Premi Literari Vila de Torelló in 2022.

Three years of creative writing at the Ateneu Barcelonès cultural center have resulted in her novel The Bookshop of Idle Hours (La llibreria de les hores mortes), which will be published by Columna/Planeta in the original Catalan in early 2026.
