I was born in a tiny East Yorkshire village in 1984. Having studied political science at Newcastle University, I worked all over Europe in roles as diverse as tennis coach to content editor, before moving to London in 2015 to pursue a career in publishing. After interning at Duckworth Overlook, I then became a foreign rights assistant at Rogers, Coleridge & White. Whilst in London I combined work with studies at City University (MA in Creative Writing and Publishing). My journey has now brought me to Barcelona and Pontas.
I write novels myself and enjoy reading a wide range of fiction. The books I enjoy the most are those that find the extraordinary in the ordinary, such as Sally Rooney, Sayaka Murata and James Baldwin. In my spare time I’m improving my Spanish/Catalan, and love anything sports related.
