Mimi Wong was born and raised in California’s Silicon Valley. A graduate of New York University, she received her B.A. in English & American Literature, with double minors in Creative Writing and Chinese. Now based in Brooklyn, she writes about art and culture for publications that include Electric Literature, Lit Hub, Refinery29, Hyperallergic, and ArtAsiaPacific, where she is a New York desk editor. She also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Offing. Her fiction has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Day One, and Wildness. In 2019, Mimi took part of the Electric Literature Banff Fiction Program and in R.O.Kwon’s Tin House Summer Workshop.
