London born and bred, I began life in 1986. After studying English Literature at the University of Bristol, I did internships at Granta and Peters, Fraser & Dunlop before landing my first job in publicity at Little, Brown Book Group. Later I moved to Bloomsbury, where I became a Publicity Manager for Fiction. Yet I had always been drawn to editorial, so in 2015 I became Assistant Editor to Bloomsbury´s Editor-in-Chief, working with authors such as George Saunders, Margaret Atwood and Jhumpa Lahiri.
After moving to Barcelona, I started at Pontas in July 2018. I enjoy reading writers from all corners of the globe, and am interested in distinctive voices, experimental fiction and sharp observation – authors such as Deborah Levy, Jenny Offill, Han Kang and Ottessa Moshfegh. A keen traveller, I love exploring the landscape and culture – mountains, beach, languages and architecture – of my adopted home.
