Jill Foulston

Originally from California, Jill Foulston went to London to study music but ended up working in publishing as an editor at the feminist publisher Virago and later at Penguin. She now lives in Italy for part of the year and translates contemporary Italian fiction. She received an Author’s Foundation award to research her debut novel, Likeness, in Lucca and Bruges.
