Christiana Spens

Christiana was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1987, and grew up in St. Andrews, Scotland. She read Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, before returning to St. Andrews for a Masters in Terrorism Studies and a PhD in International Relations, which she was awarded in 2017. She has published several books in the past, including The Wrecking Ball (Harper Perennial, 2008), and Shooting Hipsters: Rethinking Dissent in the Age of PR (Repeater Books, 2016), and she writes for magazines such as Prospect, Studio International and White Noise on art, design, literature and politics.
