The film based on 'The Invisible Guardian' by Dolores Redondo hits the cinemas

The long-awaited film based on Dolores Redondo's novel El guardián invisible (The Invisible Guardian) is finally here, hitting more than 400 screens in Spain on Friday 3rd of March. El guardián invisible (The Invisible Guardian) is the first installment in The Baztan Trilogy, which has sold over 1,200,000 copies in Spain only and one of the most —if not the most— succesful crime series in the Spanish language.

The Invisible Guardian stands out for its “unputdownable” plot, its charismatic female protagonist (inspector Amaia Salazar) and for submerging the reader into the exotic and mysterious forests of the Basque Country and the mythology that surrounds them. The Pontas Agency started representing Dolores Redondo in June 2011, and The Invisible Guardian was originally published by Ediciones Destino/Grupo Planeta in 2013 and  is now translated into more than 35 languages. The film based on this international bestseller is produced by Nostromo and Atresmedia in association with NadCon Film, directed by Fernando Gómez Molina and with Marta Etura as Amaia Salazar and Carlos Librado ‘Nene’ as Jonan Etxaide.
