Isabelle Bary was born in Vilvoorde in 1968 to a half English mom and French-speaking dad. Writing was her dream since childhood, but the possibility of actually doing that came much later. She was an account manager at Saatchi and Saatchi. In 1994, she left for a year to backpack around the world. After that, she was CEO of a big company for seven years. Among other titles, she has written Le cadeau de Léa, La prophétie du jaguar, Juste un regard and Zebraska.
