The Enigma of Pe Pi Joan is a boy who's a little overweight. He's not good at playing football and he doesn't like reading, but he takes great pleasure in listening to the stories about far-away countries that his friend, an old sailor, tells him. Joan likes animals a lot, and his powers of observation are very good. He has a pet fox terrier and also a small female lizard called Pe Pi. One day Pe Pi brings him a mysterious message. The enigma of Pe Pi is a mystery story for children, destined mainly for nine-year-olds and older, including beautiful ilustrations done by Montesol.
