Prize Pin i Soler for novel
One evening in a small and anonymous little bar of a city not far from Barcelona, Còdol, a young man, faints. Three clients of the bar, who were there just hiding from loneliness, decide to take him to the hospital. Calamarsa is a taxi driver and has his car just there; Petra doesn´t want to go back to her shared room of a squatered house; and Àgata needs any excuse to get inspired for her literature. This is the story of four young characters having apparently a very happy and normal life, like so many others in the Western societies, but deeply wondering what to do next.
Australia becomes the dream. Australia is an impressive novel that tells about how to try to be happy when monotony seems to be accepted by everyone.
