Arnau is a seventeen year old boy who leads a worry-free life. His life changes completely when he falls in love with Olga, a girl his same age who is passionate about social change. He begins working in a nursing home, in an attempt to impress Olga. There, he meets Ramon, a man with a vague libertarian past who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Although Arnau is hesitant at first, he begins to take care of the old man and eventually becomes one of his primary caregivers. The boy helps Ramon remember the most dramatic episodes of his life fighting against the fascism. The memory of the loss of his young brother Frederic in an ambush takes him to look for answers to his questions.
When all of them are solved, Ramon seems to have found peace and passes away. A terrible feeling of loss falls over Arnau, However, his relationship with Ramon and his newfound love help give his life a new meaning.
