Asha, Daughter of the Ganges is a documentary film directed by Jordi Llompart inspired in the first book by Asha Miró Daughter of the Ganges. This fascinating film follows the steps of Asha Miró on her second trip to India. In her native country she meets again people and places of her childhood she had not seen since she was seven years old, when she left the orphanage of Mumbai to live in Barcelona with the Spanish family who had adopted her. Asha, Daughter of the Ganges is not only an emotive trip to the roots of Asha Miró but also a trip to India, her native country. The DVD also contains an interview to the director, Jordi Llompart, an interview to Asha Miró and a documentry on the sacred city of Varanasi.
