| Tatiana Salem Levy is a Bazilian writer living in Rio de Janeiro. She is also a translator and holds a PhD in Literature. She was born in Portugal in 1979, grandchild of turkish Jewishs and daughter of Brazilian in exile during the dictatorship. She has published A experiência do fora: Blanchot, Foucault e Deleuze (Relume Dumará and Record, 2011), short stories in several anthologies and Primos (Record, 2010). The Key of Smyrna, her first novel, first published in Portugal (Cotovia, 2007) and later in Brazil (Record, 2008), translated into several languages, was awarded with the São Paulo of Literature Prize for the best debut novel and was finalist of the Jabuti Prize in 2008. |
