| Born in 1959, Richard Oh took a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. He has published two books: The Pathfinders of Love, in which he writes about the plight of a group of well-intentioned people caught up in the turbulent aftermath of the May 1998 riots in Jakarta, and Heart of the Night, in which he explores the notions of belonging, identity and destiny among a group of displaced Indonesians. Richard lives in Jakarta and runs a chain of English language bookstores. |
