Biography Maria Alaminos Maria Alaminos was born in Castelló (Valencia) in 1977, and shortly after her family settled in the Valley of Aran, in the heart of the Pyrinees. Later she moved to Andorra and obtained a degree in Nursing, although she has never given up writing. Maria Alaminos currently works as a nurse in the emergency unit, a job which she combines with humanitarian missions in underdeveloped countries to provide medical support.
