Biography Josep M. Esquirol Josep M. Esquirol works as a teacher of Philosophy in the Universitat de Barcelona, and he is also the manager of the Epson Foundation. He is the author of several studies about philosophers and contemporary matters, such as Oneself and the Others (Herder, 2005) or The Respect or The Attentive Gaze (Gedisa, 2006).
