| Josep M. Esquirol works as a teacher of Philosophy in the Universitat de Barcelona, and he is also the manager of the Epson Foundation. He is the author of several studies about philosophers and contemporary matters, such as Oneself and the Others (Herder, 2005) or The Respect or The Attentive Gaze (Gedisa, 2006). All of them reveal his current interest in linking up the philosophical thinking with the experiences and the most fundamental attitudes of the human being. His last essay is titled The Breath of The Days and will be published in 2008 by Paidós. |
