| Born in Barcelona in 1979, J.A. Martín Piñol works as a comedian for Paramount Comedy and also as a screenwriter for television,cinema, and radio. Piñol received his degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. He has also written popular programs such as “Noche Sin Tregua” , “Club Super 3”, and “Saber y Ganar”. He is the author of “The Book of Jokes” (Random House Mondadori, 2006). He has also published some children books such as the novel Laya and the Horrendous Shampoo Monster (Edebé, 2007) and the adult comical novel 200 Follies to Get You to Stay with Me, published by Plaza & Janés and Rosa dels Vents in Spanish and Catalan in 2007. He has won 30 literary prizes, among them the Lleida Prize and the audio-visual FAD for the best script. |
