| Carles Quílez was born in Barcelona in 1966. He works as the head of the section of Tribunals and Police for the radio broadcasting chain, SER in Barcelona. He has chronicled his experiences in his novel Atracadores (Editorial Cossetània, 2002), Psicópata (Alhena Media, 2004, Nonsoloparole, 2007) and Mala vida (Aguilar/Santillana, 2008). He was a finalist for the Rodolfo Walsh Prize and the Semana Negra de Gijón in 2002. He has also written a crime novel, together with Andreu Martín, entitled Asalto a la Virreina, published by Grijalbo/Random House in 2006. |
