Born in Barcelona in 1946, Ana M. Briongos, is both a tireless traveller and a talented writer. She studied literature at the University of Tehran and worked in Iran and Afghanistan for a period of nearly ten years as a consultant and translator. Between 1982 and 1992 she was the director of Interway, an international exchange student organization. She is now a full-time writer and has successfuly published two travel books and a children's story.
